& RESERVATIONS

- Reservation
requires a deposit of $400, payable by check or credit card.
The balance of the payment is due 60 days before the start of the tour and
is payable only by check. Late
reservations are as available.
- It´s
included:
1.Hotels: double occupancy. Single supplement: $50/night.
Single occupancy rooms are as available. If you are traveling alone, we
will try to arrange for a roommate if you wish. 2.Dinners with wine,
except for one free evening. 3.Support vehicle for luggage transport,
assistence, refreshment and shuttles. 4.One or two bi-lingual guides,
depending on the size of the group. Guides are normally Spanish and whenever
possible, from the region of the tour. 5.Entrance fees and gratuities
for visits as programmed. 6.On biking tours, hybrid bikes with toe
clips, bike bags, helmuts, maps, map carriers and water bottles. On walking
tours, fanny pack.
- Not
included:
Air fares, guides´ gratuities, insurance, additional expenses of any
nature not included in the description of the tour or owing to delays beyond
our control.
- Requirements:
Participants must be at least 18 years of age or 13 if accompanied by an
adult. Physical condition must be adequate to the difficulty of the tour.
We recommend a minimum of preparation before departure or the ok of your
physician in case of doubt. Respectful comportment towards other tour members,
guides and the country and its inhabitants is indispensable. Participants
will be requested to sign a release of responsibility agreement upon confirming
their reservation.
- Cancellations:
Requests to cancel a reservation must be made in writing and cancellation
fees will be charged as follows upon receipt of your request: Minimum of
60 days before the tour, $100; 60 to 45 days, $400; 45 to 21 days, 50 %
of the price of the tour. Less than 21 days, no refund.
Xplore Spain may cancel a tour for a lack of participants
or other circumstances over which we have no control. In the unlikely event
we have to cancel, we will refund the price of the tour or any partial payment
thereof. Not included in the refund are non-refundable air fares (not recommended)
or additional expenses of any nature incurred by tour participants.
- Insurance:
Medical and travel insurance is the responsibility of participants. We strongly
recommend trip cancellation insurance as well. Application forms for Travel
Guard trip cancellation insurance are available on request.
- Liability:
Xplore Spain may not be held liable for loss or theft of
personal effects of participants, nor for departure or arrival delays to
our starting points.
Participants make their private arrangements for arriving at our first rendez-vous
point.
Likewise, Xplore Spain will not be responsible for medical
problems or injuries to travelers on the duration of the tour. Participants
are encouraged to provide themselves with an adequate amount of insurance
coverage. Our sales office will be pleased to answer any questions you may
have.
Xplore Spain reserves the right to modify the tour itinerary
for reasons beyond our control.
